Did you know some horses grow dapper mustaches?

No?

Well, my trainer's horse does.

So whisker, such hair, much wow...
Yep. She even leaves it when she body clips him for Florida...

  1. Kika has similar white hairs on her nose...not quite mustache worthy yet but prob won't be long in getting there - look closely at her recent photos on my blog (not the conformation ones as her head isn't at the forefront of the frame)

    1. I'd assume Nancy would have more hairs than Kika, especially because this particular horse is part Friesian! :)

    2. Kika actually gets hairier, Funnily enough - i think the poor creature feels the cold. Nancy does grown a pretty sweet beard before we half clip her head and refine her a it for the winter. N is a good bit younger than Kika so may get hairier as she ages ;-)

  2. i LOVE horse mustaches!!!! a perch at our farm got the most ridiculous mustache every winter - not so much whiskers as an actual straight up fur mustache, perfectly formed and everything. i looooooved playing with it (except the big guy was mouthy and you risked loss of fingers... ah well)
