  4. Love it!!!! This is the first year I didn't do some design on Mikey. I usually put a heart on his hindquarters but we're spending more time doing clinics with international riders and well, I felt silly coming in with a heart clipped onto my horse. :-(

BTW Rambo Whitney patterned blankets are the best... ever. I have the navy fleece cooler. I'm trying to justify buying the quartersheet but it's hard because I have a homemade Penn State (my alma mater) quartersheet that I love and does the trick.

    1. Oh! I'm jealous! I really want the Rambo fleece cooler. It works 100x better than any other cooler I've used. The quarter sheet is a godsend when working really hard in the cold. Last Thursday, Guinness worked hard enough to sweat up (hard to do when clipped and working in 20 degrees!) but he was still bone dry under the quarter sheet. The sheet was covered with ice on top, where the wicked away sweat had frozen on the outside of the fleece. It really works!

    1. That quarter sheet is one of my favorite horse items. It also makes a nice, warm, superhero cape.

    1. I don't have tiny clippers, either. I do all my clipping with my Oster A5s with the 2" blades.

  9. Wow! That looks great!!!! Have I ever mentioned that I did a horseback riding vacation in Ireland about ten years ago? While I was in Galway (?), I saw a Guinness plant/factory. Any time I see the logo or beer, I get a warm and fuzzy feeling. :0) Good times!

    1. Awesome! I've never been to Ireland, but I desperately want to go. My mother went a few years ago, and brought me back a lovely oil painting of a Guinness look-alike, stories from the Irish stud where she talked up my boy, and a great Guinness plaque from the factory. :)
